    The AO029 reflective sensor with high quality plastic housing combines reliability and very long range with the best price/performance ratio. It offers a cost-effective alternative to optical reflective sensors with a metal housing, while guaranteeing a high IP67 protection level. With fixed settings, the device is ready for immediate use after convenient connection via the M12 connector. The cylindrical plastic cover in the M18 threaded design allows for easy installation. This makes the AO029 ideal for use in conveying and handling technologies

    The AO029 combines a transmitter and receiver in one housing. The transmitter emits a red light that falls on a suitable triple mirror. The receiver detects the reflected light and switches. This reaches a maximum range of 2.5 m. The AO029 is easy to align thanks to its highly visible light spot, which is 200mm in diameter at maximum range. The receiver has a polarizing filter that emits only the light reflected by the triple mirror. Defective switching is therefore excluded by other reflective surfaces
