    AO022 is a transmitter for optical remote sensors. Photocells are optical systems for detecting the position of objects. It consists of two components in separate devices, a transmitter and a receiver. A suitable receiver is AO023. Both devices are perfectly matched and preconfigured to make the AO022 ready immediately after installation. The transmitter and receiver can communicate via IO-Link

    The AO022 emits a visible red light with a maximum detection distance of just under 3 m. The red light spot is clearly visible on almost all surfaces and allows easy alignment of the transmitter. The narrow light cone is suitable for reliable detection of very small objects

    The compact design and small housing of the AO022 allow installation in very limited space. The device has a connection cable with a fixed M8 plug. A 2.9 mm diameter PVC cable is used to power the sensor. The device has contact protection according to IP67 and can be used in almost all environmental conditions
