Diffuse reflection sensor with background suppression and potentiometer for setting the detection range. A diffuse reflection sensor that combines a light transmitter and receiver in the same housing and does not require additional assistance for object recognition. The timed red light is reflected on the object to be detected and evaluated by the integrated sensor receiver. The special power of the reflected light scanner lies in the background suppression without interference. Diffuse reflection sensors are used for direct object detection. The transmitter and receiver are housed in an enclosure. The transmitter emits light that is reflected from the object to be detected and recognized by the internal receiver.
