The drive is a compact, explosion-proof, internally vented universal motor.
The lightweight, handy and powerful device can be used to drive laboratory and drum pump tubes and is useful in this combination for many thin liquid, neutral, aggressive and non-flammable media. Its sophisticated, technically clear structure ensures efficient and safe use when carrying a variety of water-like liquids.
The drum pump motor is characterised not only by its low weight (2 and 2.3 kg), but also by its elegant design and ease of operation. The non-stationary and stationary drive is particularly suitable for intermittent operation. As an internally ventilated motor, it has optimum air cooling, low noise level and ensures high operational safety and long service life.
The motor body made of polypropylene ensures high chemical resistance in the presence of aggressive acid and alkali vapours.
The standard low-voltage trigger integrated in the on/off switch is designed to prevent uncontrolled starting of the drum pump motor after a power failure or voltage drop, thus guaranteeing maximum safety. The presence of thermal protection significantly extends the life of the motor.
The flow rate of the medium to be pumped can be adjusted by the optional speed control, which is mounted laterally in the motor housing and therefore adapts to the user's needs.
