The AS009 reliably measures the volumetric flow rate of water-based liquid media and has an integrated temperature measurement system. The AS009 measures volumetric flow rates for a range of 5 to 85 l/min. The sensor is an inline device with an internal diameter of DN 1" and an external thread of G 3/4. The integrated PT1000 element measures the temperature of the medium between -25°C and +125°C. Both measured values are output as a 4 ... 20 mA analog signal. The electrical connection is made via a 3-pole M12 plug. The principle measures flow and temperature without any moving parts, resulting in very low pressure drop, excellent measurement accuracy and low sensitivity to contamination. AS009 is suitable for drinking water distribution, heating and cooling circuits and applications with deionised water and chemical solutions. The compact design allows quick and easy commissioning even in tight installation conditions.
