    The AO023 is used as a dark switch receiver for long-beam optical sensors. A suitable transmitter is AO022. The optical system works with red light and has a very long range of almost three meters. Distance and all other parameters can be easily set using IO-Link with the io software

    In the case of through-beam sensors, the path of the light beam is only in one direction. This has the advantage that the optical system is less sensitive to dust, steam and other interfering factors. The high IP67 protection rating provides reliable detection of very small, flat and mirrored objects even in harsh environments. The compact design allows installation in tight spaces. Connection is very convenient via an M8 connector, which is connected to the light barrier receiver via a 30 cm 3 x 0.08 mm² PVC cable
